Our decision to move out of the region was not an easy one to make; there were both emotional as well as practical weeds to wade through. Once the decision was made we set out to choose an agent. We interviewed a total of four real estate brokers, spending some eight hours in the process. We chose Laurie because she was far and away the broker who presented the most coherent and aggressive plan to sell our home.  Of course selling a home is not without its challenges. At every twist and turn, Laurie has shown both a constant and competent manager of the process. We love working with such a delightful and professional real estate broker.

My experience with Dawn Berard was simply outstanding! My wife and I were looking to purchase our first home for our family. We had decided to move from Wilmington area to Charlotte (crazy right). We lived in a very isolated area and on a gravel road to boot. Dawn listed the house and within a short time and at a time 2009 when the market was made, we sold and were able to move on. Dawn and her staff work hard to help. We then had land in Wilmington area to sell and again Dawn did it! We could not be happier and recommend her and her agency to anyone!

As first-time home buyers, Sam was everything we could have asked for in a realtor. Dawn is amazing. She could not have been any better!! Unfortunately, the closing attorney did not do a good job but Dawn was as upset or more about that than we were.

Shawn went above and beyond.  Since I am located in York, PA he made sure I was informed of all decisions and milestones immediately via text, phone calls, and email.  He also did a lot of FaceTime with me to ensure that the property I located was what I wanted and did our final walkthrough via FaceTime.  Nice use of modern technology

Garrett Mannerz is the best agent ever! We purchased our home with his help and he was exceedingly helpful finding us options to look at. Even while he was on vacation in Florida he kept in constant contact and always made himself available.  Ten months later we decided to sell our home and move closer to our children. Garrett sold our house in SIX days. Again he was always there and always available to talk. If our agent where we purchased our home was 10% as efficient in keeping in contact, returning phone calls, available to answer questions, etc. we would have been happy. What this boils down to, is that Garrett was more helpful to us than our out of the area agent. We highly recommend him as a top notch agent who knows his business.

Shawn listened to our needs and wants in a home, what kind of area we wanted to live in, and most importantly kept us within our budget.

Shawn also would go through home searches each day to find us the perfect home.  He would only send you the houses to review that he knew met your needs and wants.  We lived about 7 hours away from the Leland area.  So after letting him know what houses we were interested in, he would then go to the house and take a video of it, send it to us, and give us his honest opinion of what he thought about it.  After seeing the videos we would then setup appointments for only the homes we were interested in.

Shawn also went out of his way to find the best contractors to fix the repairs needed to our home before closing.  Shawn would even go buy the home to make sure the repairs were done.  He also met with the home inspector and stayed with him while doing the inspection.

Shawn was very accessible and kept in contact with us on a daily basis.
